Workers injured in fall at the Commerce Casino

At the Law Offices of Sef Krell, we continue to represent injured workers against Commerce Casino.  We note that on Saturday, January 3, 2015, workers at the Commerce Casino were injured when the scaffolding gave way.  Some of these workers fell as far as 15 feet and suffered minor injuries.  We have been bringing claims against Commerce Casino since it opened; in fact, our first claim against Commerce Casino was during the construction phase.  Apparently, working at Commerce Casino can be harmful to something other than just your wallet.  At the Law Offices of Sef Krell we would be happy to represent these injured workers and make sure they understand their compensation rights.   Additionally, there are special cases dealing with scaffolding and the failure to properly construct them.  It is possible that these injured workers might not only have a “straight“ workers’ compensation case, but also increased compensation as a result of a unsafe work condition and a civil case against the scaffolding contractors if in fact the people who built the scaffolding are not the same people who employed the painters.
